Summary
Back in college, Chen Zan was acknowledged by his wealthy father and brought back into the family, becoming a rich second-generation heir with plenty of money but little affection. Having never experienced love, he fell in love at first sight with Jiang Youwei, the campus beauty and top student he encountered. And so, he used every trick he could think of to pursue her.
A lofty, untouchable girl like her always disdained and rejected the pursuit of money—until her only family member fell critically ill.
Chen Zan extended a helping hand, but with a single condition: they had to date.
He would give her the money she needed; she would be his girlfriend.
He didn’t understand love. He thought that giving her what she needed—that was love.
But his status as a rich heir was only temporary. His family went bankrupt, his father was imprisoned, and their once vast fortune had long since become an empty shell, its assets liquidated. Overnight, Chen Zan became an orphan again.
Unable to provide what Jiang Youwei needed anymore, he chose to end the relationship through cold indifference.
Years later, they meet again.
Jiang Youwei has become a stunning and powerful CEO, while Chen Zan has fallen to the lowest depths.
With their identities completely reversed, where will they go from here?
