Chapter 1: Reborn as a Prodigal Young Master, Starting with an Invincible Background!

“Waaah… Young Master, you’ve finally woken up! Shuang’er was worried sick!”

Inside the bedroom, Chu Feng had just opened his eyes and sat up, still dazed. At that moment, a soft fragrance rushed toward him, accompanied by a delicate, tearful voice.

He subconsciously turned his head. The instant his gaze landed on the scene before him, he blurted out, “Holy—what is this?!”

A young girl dressed in ancient clothing, her hair tied into twin ponytails, was tightly pressing his head against her chest. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she clung to him.

“Y-you… who are you?”

Only after a strong sense of suffocation hit him did Chu Feng hastily push her away, his face filled with confusion.

The girl’s crying stopped abruptly. Her tear-laden lashes trembled as she stared at him in shock. “Young Master? What’s wrong with you? Don’t you recognize Shuang’er?”

Shuang’er?

Chu Feng frowned, trying to piece things together.

Before him was a youthful-faced girl with an overly mature figure. Above him was a carved bed canopy, around him elegant wooden beams, and nearby stood several elderly men dressed in official robes. Everything felt completely unfamiliar, leaving his mind blank.

At that moment, a flood of memories that didn’t belong to him surged into his mind like a bursting dam.

“Ah—!”

A tearing pain exploded through his head. Clutching it tightly, Chu Feng let out a suppressed, agonized roar.

“Young Master!”

Shuang’er’s face turned pale with fright. The imperial physicians nearby, who had just relaxed moments ago, instantly became tense again and hurried over to examine him.

After what felt like an eternity, the splitting pain slowly faded.

Chu Feng lay sprawled on the bed, gasping heavily. However, his eyes had completely changed.

Damn… I’ve transmigrated!

Just a moment ago, he had been sitting at his computer, paying his “respects” to a newly released top-tier domestic adult romance film. The next moment, he had become this unlucky fellow who shared his exact name.

The Great Qian Empire. He was the heir of the Zhenbei Marquis Manor.

His grandfather was the current Left Chancellor, the foremost among the Four Dukes, a veteran of three reigns, wielding immense power across the court.

His father was the War God of Great Qian, titled the Zhenbei Marquis, commanding 300,000 elite cavalry on the northern frontier. He had expanded the Empire’s territory by 3,000 kilometers and his name shook all directions.

Above him, he even had three elder sisters, each one a genius among geniuses.

Yet when it came to him, everything took a sharp turn. He had become a useless wastrel, indulging in food, drink, gambling, and women, skilled in cheating and scheming, earning the notorious title of “Number One Prodigal of Great Qian,” grinding his family’s reputation into the dirt.

And just last night, for the sake of a newly crowned courtesan from the Pleasure Pavilion, he had fought fiercely with the young master of the Protector Duke’s Manor. In the end, he was beaten half to death… and conveniently replaced by this transmigrator.

After digesting all of this, Chu Feng didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

At that moment…

Bang!

The door was kicked open from the outside, wood splintering everywhere.

“Where is that unfilial brat?! Is he dead yet?!”

A thunderous roar rolled in.

A burly middle-aged man clad in armor strode in with the aura of a battlefield veteran. Dust clung to his body, and his presence carried a chilling killing intent as he advanced with powerful steps.

The imperial physicians trembled at the sight of him, their legs going weak as they quickly bowed. “Reporting to Marquis, the Young Master… the Young Master is no longer in danger.”

The man was none other than Chu Feng’s father in this life, the War God of Great Qian, the Zhenbei Marquis… Chu Tianlong.

Chu Tianlong’s hawk-like eyes locked onto Chu Feng on the bed, his fury nearly bursting forth.

“You worthless brat! For the sake of a prostitute, you fought over jealousy and got yourself beaten half to death! You’ve completely disgraced my Zhenbei Marquis Manor! Today, I’ll break your three legs and see how you go out and shame us again!”

Before his words even settled, his massive palm shot out, carrying a fierce gust of wind as it struck straight toward Chu Feng’s legs.

“Damn!”

Chu Feng’s eyes nearly popped out.

He had just transmigrated, hadn’t even touched a bit of wealth or glory, and now he was about to become a crippled eunuch?

“Chu Tianlong, are you trying to rebel?!”

Just then, an even more domineering roar came from outside.

An elderly man with white hair but a vigorous spirit rushed in like a gust of wind. With a seemingly casual wave of his hand, he shattered Chu Tianlong’s thunderous strike.

Placing his hands on his hips, he immediately started cursing at the War God of Great Qian, “You brat, your wings have hardened, haven’t they? You dare touch my grandson?!”

This man was Chu Feng’s grandfather, the current Left Chancellor, Duke of Chu… Chu Qingcang!

The murderous aura around Chu Tianlong instantly shrank when he saw the old man. He lowered his stance, his face filled with helplessness. “Father, look at what you’ve spoiled him into! The Chu family’s reputation has been completely ruined by him!”

“If I don’t spoil my own grandson, who should I spoil? You? A father who spends the entire year on the frontier, only knowing how to kill?” Chu Qingcang blew his beard and glared. “Let me make this clear… if you dare touch Xiao Feng again, I’ll beat you to death first!”

The War God who shook the eight directions now stood with his head lowered like a child who had done something wrong, not daring to utter a single word.

“Damn, my grandfather is amazing!”

Chu Feng watched in shock. At that moment, he finally understood why the original owner had turned out like this… the root of it was right here.

After scolding his son, Chu Qingcang instantly changed his expression. He hurried to the bedside, his face full of concern and indulgence. “Xiao Feng, my dear grandson, how are you? Let Grandpa take a look… where are you hurt?”

Seeing the genuine worry in the old man’s eyes, warmth rose in Chu Feng’s heart.

In his previous life, he had been an orphan, never experiencing familial affection. Yet in this life, he was given a grandfather who protected him without reason from the very start.

“Grandpa, I’m fine.” Chu Feng shook his head.

“That old bastard Ye Tianxiong’s useless grandson… what nerve! He dared to lay a hand on my Chu Qingcang’s grandson… he must be tired of living!”

Chu Qingcang’s expression darkened as he turned sharply, his voice booming like thunder. “Men!”

“Gather all the guards in the manor! Arm yourselves and follow me to flatten the Ye family! Today, I’ll tear that little brat from the Ye family into pieces!”

Hiss!

Chu Feng sucked in a cold breath.

This old man was way too fierce!

From the memories, the Ye family stood on equal footing with the Chu family, both being top noble families of Great Qian.

Ye Tianxiong, the head of the Ye family, had once been the Grand Marshal of Great Qian’s forces and was granted the title of Protector Duke, also one of the Four Dukes. His four sons had all died for the country… truly a family of loyal martyrs.

And yet, such a family… his grandfather was ready to wipe them out just like that?

Chu Tianlong grew anxious as well. “Father, if you do this, the entire capital will be thrown into chaos!”

“So what if it turns upside down? What does it have to do with me?” Chu Qingcang snorted stubbornly. “Anyone who dares bully my grandson… even the heavens themselves won’t be spared!”

With that, he turned to leave again. “Xiao Feng, wait here. Grandpa will go vent your anger!”

“Grandpa, wait!”

Chu Feng hurriedly spoke up.

“Hmm?” Chu Qingcang turned back.

Forcing himself to stay calm, Chu Feng said, “Grandpa, this is a personal matter between me and Ye Hao. I want to handle it myself.”

“Hmph, at least you’re not completely stupid,” Chu Tianlong snorted coldly from the side.

Chu Qingcang stared at his grandson for a few seconds before nodding. “Fine. You can deal with that brat from the Ye family yourself. But you are my Chu Qingcang’s grandson. You were beaten for no reason… if the Chu family doesn’t make a move, won’t people laugh at us for having no one?”

“Father, what do you mean?” Chu Tianlong asked.

“That old thing Ye Tianxiong… doesn’t he have a granddaughter named Ye Hongluan?”

Chu Qingcang stroked his beard, a glint flashing in his eyes.

“To make up for her brother’s mistake, let her marry Xiao Feng as compensation!”

Ye Hongluan!

The moment those three words were spoken, Chu Tianlong… and everyone else in the room… had their expressions change drastically.

Chu Feng’s heart stirred. He immediately searched through the original owner’s memories for that name.

When the fragments of memory surfaced…

His entire body froze.
