Moments later, the Mist Mountain Sect’s Grand Elder arrived, leading ten Martial Kings. They descended and stood atop the Xia family’s outer courtyard wall.
Seeing this, Xia Feng’s parents immediately disengaged from Liu Tianxiang and flew toward Xia Feng, shielding him.
“Xia Feng, go—now!” his mother said sternly.
“We’ll hold them off. You must leave immediately,” his father added without looking back.
Xia Feng gazed at the Mist Mountain Sect’s Grand Elder and the ten Martial Kings. His eyes turned cold.
“Father, Mother… how could I abandon you and run? It’s just death. The sons of the Xia family do not fear death.” Xia Feng’s voice was steady.
At that moment, Liu Shiyu, who had been helped up by Liu Tianxiang, burst into wild laughter. “Xia Feng, so you were hiding this deep? Pretending to be a Martial Disciple just to trick me into breaking off the engagement? What a scheming bastard! But so what if you’re a 9th stage Earth Realm cultivator? You’ll still die today!”
Xia Feng glanced at her but didn’t reply.
His eyes looked toward the sky in the distance. If the five top-tier Holy Maidens of the Northern Region came because of the dream’s influence, then the five from the Southern Region should be on their way too.

“Stop! Let me see who dares touch my husband!”
