“You… why are you holding Nuonuo?” The beautiful and elegant woman was both shocked and angry when she saw the adorable little girl in Li Wanji’s arms.

“Wait, isn’t this Chen Fan’s villa? Why are you staying here?” She suddenly realized, “So that means Yiyi has already… and Yaya too…”

Gu Qingning finally understood what had happened.

“You devil!” Gu Qingning glared at him with her beautiful eyes.

“What would it take for you to lend me the money?” Gu Qingning’s tone softened as she spoke in a low, pleading voice. She had no choice—she was here to ask for help. Thousands of employees were waiting for their salaries. 

Over the past few days, she had been running around trying to gather money and had barely scraped together a few million yuan. 

She had even sold her house and car just to pay part of the wages. When she arrived earlier, she was riding a small electric scooter.

To think that she, a CEO who oversaw a hundred-billion yuan empire and the hidden boss behind Qingcheng International, had fallen to the point of riding an electric bike—she felt like crying.

“How much do you want to borrow?” Li Wanji asked.

“Ten million… no, thirty million!” Gu Qingning said. Ten million would go to paying salaries, and twenty million would be used as startup capital to rebuild her business.

“Hahaha, 30 million is no small amount. What does Miss Gu plan to offer in exchange?” Li Wanji’s eyes stayed fixed on her long legs. He had to admit, those legs were incredibly alluring.

“A promissory note?” Li Wanji sneered. “Do you think I care about that money?”

“Then what do you want?” She looked up into his eyes, only to find him staring at her legs. “You!” Gu Qingning immediately realized what he was after.

“Don’t even think about it!” She took a step back and guarded herself. “I won’t let you succeed.” She belonged to Chen Fan. In this life, she would never allow another man to touch her.

“How about this: for 30 million yuan, I’ll buy the right to use your legs for a day. How about that?” Li Wanji said.

“What do you mean?” Gu Qingning asked.

“It’s simple. I lend you 30 million, and I can do whatever I want with your legs. Whatever I ask you to do with them, you must obey. If you agree, I’ll transfer the money immediately,” Li Wanji said.

“Only my legs?” Gu Qingning was actually tempted. As long as it didn’t involve that kind of thing, it shouldn’t be considered cheating. No matter what, she had to resolve her current crisis first. Otherwise, she wasn’t even sure she’d live to see the day Chen Fan returned. So many eyes were watching her—she felt uneasy even with powerful backers.

“That’s right, just your legs. I won’t force you to do that kind of thing,” Li Wanji nodded.

“I… I need to think about it,” Gu Qingning said, weighing the pros and cons seriously.

“I’m giving you one minute.” Li Wanji teased the little girl in his arms, pinching her cute cheeks. This little girl really was a delight.

“Fine, I agree!” After about thirty seconds of thought, Gu Qingning gave her answer.

“Excellent. Miss Gu really is a smart woman,” Li Wanji said with a satisfied smile. “Come inside. Let’s have some fun today.” He turned and walked into the house.

Gu Qingning followed him inside. There, she saw Bai Ya.

“You two chat for a bit. I’m going to get something.” Li Wanji handed the child back to Bai Ya and quickly went out the door.

He went to the warehouse and found a tricycle. Then he rode it to the front yard and shouted, “Gu Qingning, come out.”

“What is it?” Gu Qingning came out and was surprised to see him sitting on a tricycle.

“Your legs are mine to use now. So I order you to pedal this tricycle and take me for a ride.”

Li Wanji jumped into the cart at the back of the tricycle.

“You’re kidding, right…” Gu Qingning was stunned. She thought he would at most play with her legs or ask her to wear sexy stockings. She never expected him to make her pedal a tricycle! Oh god! She was about to break down.

“Hurry up!” Li Wanji barked sternly.

Gu Qingning bit her lip. “Can I at least change clothes first? Jeans aren’t very convenient.”

“Then go put on some hot pants. Show off those long legs—I want to see them.” Li Wanji lounged in the back, playing on his phone.

Gu Qingning had no choice. She went back inside and borrowed a pair of hot pants from Bai Ya. After changing, she walked out.

Her fair and slender legs were now mostly exposed to the air—extremely seductive.

“Let’s begin,” Li Wanji urged.

Gu Qingning pouted but still walked over to the tricycle and slowly sat down. “I… I don’t really know how to pedal,” she said, deeply ashamed.

Bai Ya stood at the door holding Nuonuo. Seeing this scene, she felt a little sorry for her best friend—but this was already a good outcome. When Gu Qingning was changing, Bai Ya had warned her not to go against this man. Thankfully, Gu Qingning had listened.

“You don’t even know how to use your feet? What, do you need Chen Fan to teach you how to play cards too?” Li Wanji said coldly.

“You!” Gu Qingning was fuming, her face flushed red. But in the end, she bit her lip and said nothing, instead stepping hard on the pedal.

It was heavy.

Normally she worked out, did yoga, and trained her hips, which was why her figure was so well maintained. But the gear ratio of the tricycle was heavy, and with a man sitting in the cart, every pedal took great effort. After just a few turns, her face was flushed, sweat dotted her nose, and she was panting.

“Put more strength into it! What, haven’t eaten? Pedal all the way to West Slim Square in the city center,” Li Wanji ordered smugly.

“What?!” Gu Qingning froze. “That’s 5 or 6 kilometers away! How am I supposed to do that?!”

“Useless. Can’t even pedal that far. Fine, I’ll give you a boost.” Li Wanji activated his true Qi, and with a swoosh, the tricycle shot forward.
