Chapter 1: It’s Over, My System Was Discovered by the Empress Master!

There was almost no light at all, only the faint breathing of a young man bound to a cross.

I walked beside her through wind and rain for an entire millennium. Now that she’s learned I want to leave and return to Blue Star on my own, her reaction makes sense.”

But as soon as he said that, he felt the temperature around him plummet. A cold, familiar voice drifted from behind. “Fan’er, am I really so unbearable that you can’t wait to leave me?”
