Help, What Should I Do If The Person Who Likes Me Is a Yandere! - Chapter 53:
Chapter 53: Saint, Don’t You Understand How to Be Gentle with Women?:
Since the system didn’t indicate that the mission was complete, it meant that someone else was still hiding outside his room.
The system had given Xu Ze two full hours to finish the task, but to get a perfect rating, he needed to solve it as quickly as possible.
Releasing Gu Ling’er, Xu Ze walked toward the door.
“Huh? You’re not hitting me anymore, Holy Son?” Gu Ling’er looked disappointed, as if she hadn’t had enough punishment yet.
Xu Ze rolled his eyes and ignored her.
Seeing this, Gu Ling’er could only suppress her feelings of reluctance. She wasn’t really a masochist—she just wanted more “intimate” contact with the Holy Son.
“When you came, did you see anyone else in the courtyard?” Xu Ze asked, pushing open the door and glancing at the quiet scene outside.
Gu Ling’er gave an embarrassed laugh. She had snuck in, focusing only on Xu Ze, with no attention to her surroundings. But judging by the Holy Son’s expression, was there really someone else in the courtyard besides her?
Gu Ling’er scanned the area. The courtyard seemed peaceful and calm, with no sign of anyone hiding.
Meanwhile, Chu Junhan was nervously hiding in the bushes, drenched in cold sweat. If only she had left earlier… But now, it was too late.
She had countless chances to escape, but for some reason, she waited, wanting to linger just a little longer. That hesitation had now gotten her into trouble. There was no way to escape now.
‘God, please help me!’
Chu Junhan bit her lip, trembling in fear.
“Holy Son, over here!” Gu Ling’er suddenly shouted.
Chu Junhan’s heart nearly stopped. She had been discovered!
She wanted to jump up and flee, but before she could, a flash of golden light appeared in front of her. Xu Ze had pointed toward the bush near her, and a bolt of golden lightning struck, followed by a girl’s scream.
“Huh?”
Chu Junhan was confused. She saw a shadow rush out of the nearby bush, fleeing in panic. Xu Ze’s eyes glowed with golden light as he shot another bolt of lightning from his palm.
“Yikes!”
The bolt struck the shadow, and the figure screamed again, stumbling as it ran farther away.
“Who dares to spy on the Holy Son?” Gu Ling’er shouted, ready to give chase, but Xu Ze grabbed her shoulder, stopping her.
She glanced at him in confusion.
Xu Ze shook his head, signaling her to stay put. “The lightning didn’t injure that person too badly, but the second strike should’ve left a wound. There’s no need to chase.”
Gu Ling’er nodded, though she was a little disappointed. In her mind, anyone who dared spy on the Holy Son should be severely punished and even flogged! Of course, she excluded herself from that.
“No one should ever have ideas about the Holy Son while I’m around!” Gu Ling’er huffed.
Xu Ze smacked her lightly on the head. “I think you have quite a few ideas yourself. Now, go back to your room!”
Gu Ling’er clutched her head, giving Xu Ze a pitiful look. “But Holy Son, I was just worried you might feel lonely all by yourself…”
Xu Ze chuckled helplessly. “What, you want to stay here and serve me?”
Gu Ling’er’s face flushed as she shyly smiled. “I mean, if you insist… I wouldn’t mind…”
With a blank expression, Xu Ze kicked her out of the courtyard, closing the gate behind her. He then stretched and went back to his room, yawning.
Seriously, after such a tiring day, he had no interest in flirting. Besides, Gu Ling’er was so adorably naive that he just couldn’t bring himself to take advantage of her.
Chu Junhan, still crouching in the bushes, watched Xu Ze leave and finally exhaled in relief. She gently patted her chest.
‘That was close… I thought I was caught for sure.’
She didn’t know who had been hiding nearby, but that person had taken two of Xu Ze’s lightning strikes on her behalf. How fortunate for me, she thought.
“Still… Xu Ze doesn’t know how to be gentle with women at all, does he?” she muttered. “Even if it was a girl, he still struck so harshly with the second bolt…”
“What a cold-hearted, ruthless Holy Saint!”
Grinding her teeth in frustration, Chu Junhan sat in silence for a moment, then suddenly blushed.
“But… a man like that… he’s kind of… bad, and… handsome…”
“What do you mean, kind of handsome, Holy Maiden Chu?”
“N-nothing, just talking to myself…”
Chu Junhan’s face froze as she slowly lifted her head. There, sitting on the steps and resting his chin in his hand, was Xu Ze, staring down at her with a blank expression.
Gulp.
Chu Junhan swallowed nervously.
“Well… I, uh… came here tonight to…”
A golden lightning bolt flickered in Xu Ze’s palm.
“No, I wasn’t spying or anything… I just wanted to…”
Boom!
A flash of golden light shot into the sky.
“Ahh! You’re such an awful man!” Chu Junhan’s scream echoed into the night.
…
Late at night, deep inside the royal palace, a shadowy figure stumbled into a room and collapsed to the floor. She clutched her backside, gasping in pain, and struggled to reach the bedside, grabbing a pill and swallowing it. After a while, the girl sighed in relief and lay limply on the bed.
“That was too close…”
“I almost got caught…”
“Hiss, that hit was way too harsh. My backside’s fried…”
“Ugh… the Holy Son… He’s exactly the same as he used to be…”
“He still doesn’t know how to be gentle with women at all.”
