I Am the Villain Who Plunders Everything From the Protagonist - Chapter 24:
Chapter 24: Another Hero Saves the Beauty
Xu Ruyan held her wine glass as her beautiful eyes calmly swept across every man in the bar.
She wanted to borrow a seed, but that didn’t mean she would settle for just anyone.
The man who would father her future child had to be at least 85 out of 100 in appearance, not too short, and with a well-proportioned physique…
Suddenly, her gaze froze and her breath stopped.
Not far away, a man sat wearing a white suit and shirt, holding a glass of champagne.
He had sharp brows and starry eyes, his features flawless. His handsomeness made her heartbeat quicken uncontrollably.
Though he was seated and she couldn’t judge his full height, his broad shoulders and long legs made her estimate that he must be over 1.8 meters tall.
Absolutely… perfect!
She hadn’t expected to find such a suitable candidate so easily.
Narrowing her eyes, Xu Ruyan swirled the wine in her glass, gazing at the clear, dark red liquid. Reflected on the glass was her own stunning face, made even more dazzling by the makeup. She lightly licked her slightly dry lips and revealed a confident, determined smile.
After extinguishing her cigarette, she was about to stand up and make her move.
Suddenly, several men approached her.
They were dressed flamboyantly, reeking of alcohol—typical small-time thugs who frequented bars.
“Hey, gorgeous, all alone? Want to be friends?” One of them grinned, his eyes greedily roaming over the fair skin Xu Ruyan had exposed.
Though her makeup was thick, her natural beauty was evident, and her curvaceous figure made it clear she was a rare beauty.
“Drinking alone is boring,” another thug said with a wide smile. “Join us for a few drinks? It’s on us.”
“This hall’s too noisy, not a great atmosphere,” a third chimed in. “Why don’t we go to a private room upstairs instead?”
“Move,” Xu Ruyan said coldly.
She knew exactly what they were after.
Touch her? They weren’t even qualified!
“Why so cold?” The men stepped closer, vaguely surrounding her. “We’re not gonna do anything. Just drinks, dancing, chatting. Chill.”
One of them even reached out, aiming for her bare shoulder.
Splash!
Xu Ruyan raised her hand and dumped the remaining red wine in her glass right onto the man’s face.
She stared him down, voice icy. “Get lost.”
The man wiped his face, his expression twisting in fury.
“You b*tch! Dressed like that, coming to a place like this, and still pretending to be some kind of chaste saint?!”
“Fine, don’t drink a toast, you’ll drink a forfeit!”
“Damn it! Tonight, we’re gonna take turns serving you…”
Their masks dropped as vulgar curses poured out, and they stepped closer, surrounding Xu Ruyan.
The music blasted around them, lights flashed wildly, and the entire crowd was lost in chaos—no one noticed what was happening here.
Suddenly—bang!
A loud crash startled everyone.
One of the men clutched his head and dropped to a squat, blood and wine dripping down his scalp.
Another figure kicked out again. One of the other thugs fell face-first to the floor. As he tried to get up, a heavy foot stomped down on his back. His chin hit the floor with a crack, and blood poured from his mouth.
In a blink, two were down.
The sudden violence left everyone frozen.
Xu Ruyan was stunned too. A moment later, a strong hand grabbed her wrist.
“What are you spacing out for? Let’s go!” Shen Yan tossed aside the wine bottle and pulled her quickly toward the door.
After a few steps, Xu Ruyan’s ten-centimeter high heels twisted, and she nearly fell.
Shen Yan reacted instantly, scooping her up and slinging her over his shoulder without breaking stride.
Behind them, the thugs scrambled back to their feet, their faces burning with rage.
