The manager of the boutique calmly took the Heart of the Stars diamond ring out from the display counter and said excitedly, “This diamond ring was processed through forty-seven procedures by the South African Michael Jewelry Company and then meticulously carved one by one by eight master craftsmen.”
“Young Master Ye paid an astronomical price to obtain this ring. But spending money is nothing. What is truly priceless is Young Master Ye’s sincerity toward you.”

The manager delivered the flattery he had practiced more than a dozen times with flawless skill. Her father was furious. Even without the speaker on, Lin Fengjiao could hear his roar. Looking at Bai Susu again, tears were already swirling in her eyes, her face filled with grievance.
