The Beautiful CEO Only Loves Me - Chapter 12:
Chapter 12: Tang Bingyan Vomits Blood After Taking the Medicine
“No, I have to tell CEO Tang. I have to make her see what kind of person Xu Tian really is!” Chen Xiaoxiao was seething with anger.
But the next moment, she abruptly calmed down.
No.
She couldn’t.
Just yesterday, even after catching Xu Tian in bed with another woman, Tang Bingyan had seemed inclined to forgive him. She hadn’t even talked about divorce.
And now, Xu Tian had just brought back a miracle doctor to treat her. At this moment, would Tang Bingyan really believe the photo was real?
Would this photo have any effect at all?
Tang Bingyan trusted Xu Tian so much, she’d risk her own life for him…
Chen Xiaoxiao felt a deep sense of bitterness. She was helpless and powerless.
After struggling for a while, she finally sighed. “I’ll wait. When the right time comes, I’ll show this to her.”
Then, she silently saved the photo in its original form and put her phone away.
…
Meanwhile, Xu Tian had just stepped into the hospital when he received a call from his adoptive father, Xu Pingfeng.
“Xu Tian! Do you have any idea how much damage you caused the family by tearing up that signed contract with Tang Bingyan?! Get back here! Now!”
Xu Tian’s expression instantly turned cold. “Without me, do you think Bingyan would’ve even acknowledged who you people were? From now on, don’t even think about profiting off her, and stop interfering in my life. Otherwise… you’ll suffer the consequences.”

Without waiting for a response, Xu Tian hung up.
Just as he was heading toward Tang Bingyan’s ward, he noticed a middle-aged man pacing back and forth, checking different rooms, clearly searching for someone.
That man was none other than the one Lin Xiao had kicked out of the clinic yesterday.
Looking at the man’s face, Xu Tian once again felt a strange sense of familiarity.
Wait…
“Chairman of Fujian Group in Longjiang Province—Li Fujiang!”
One of the top ten richest people in Longjiang!
The Xu family couldn’t even compare.
Xu Tian wouldn’t normally have the qualifications to approach someone like Li Fujiang.
He only knew about him because of a past-life news article.
Li Fujiang’s second wife, Wu Rong, wasn’t the biological mother of his son, Li Hua. In order to steal the family fortune, she secretly gave Li Hua a slow-acting poison.
It was colorless and tasteless. After Li Hua’s death, not even the doctors could detect anything.
But Li Fujiang refused to accept it and spent a fortune to invite a national doctor, who eventually uncovered the poison and even named the antidote—though by then, it was too late.
Xu Tian paused for a moment, then walked directly toward Li Fujiang.
“Mr. Li, hello!”
Li Fujiang frowned slightly in surprise and glanced at him.
“You must be mistaken. I’m not Li Fujiang.”
With that, he ignored Xu Tian and turned to leave.
But Xu Tian didn’t rush. He calmly said, “Mr. Li, your son is dying. I’m the only one who can save him.”
Li Fujiang’s entire body tensed.
Snap!
A surge of rage exploded in his chest the next second.
“Young man, if you’re trying to get my attention like this, you’ve gone too far.”
His tone was icy cold.
He was used to people trying to flatter him to win favor. But this? This was the first time someone dared curse his son!
If it weren’t for the fact that Zhang Zizhen might still be nearby, he would’ve already punched this kid.
Xu Tian didn’t react. He simply smiled calmly.
“Mr. Li, I know you don’t believe me. But I think you know well enough that your wife and your son have never gotten along.”
“You’re overthinking. My family is very harmonious!” Li Fujiang snapped and shoved Xu Tian away. “Get out of my way!”
Xu Tian remained composed. “Your wife, Wu Rong, is trying to kill your son.”
“If you don’t believe me, check the surveillance cameras when you get home. See if I’m lying.”
Li Fujiang stared at him for a few seconds in silence.
Then, he smiled coldly. “I’ll check. But if I don’t find anything… tomorrow, there might be a body lying on Central Avenue without a clear cause of death.”
His tone made it sound like he was already envisioning Xu Tian’s funeral.
With that, he turned and stepped into the elevator.
Xu Tian exhaled slowly as he watched him leave.
Dealing with someone like that… one wrong word could cost a life.
But Xu Tian wasn’t too worried. Once Li Fujiang saw the footage, he would understand what his wife had done.
…
The next morning.
Inside the hospital ward, Tang Bingyan had just finished drinking her medicine and lay back down to rest when Xu Tian arrived with a thermos of chicken soup.
Chen Xiaoxiao saw him and her loathing intensified.
“Xu Tian, why haven’t you left yet? CEO Tang needs rest—can you stop upsetting her?”
“I’m just here to bring her soup.” Xu Tian raised the thermos.
“Soup? You know perfectly well what kind of soup you make. CEO Tang’s already in this state, and you still want to harm her?” Chen Xiaoxiao snapped.
She remembered vividly—once, when Tang Bingyan had stomach pain, Xu Tian pretended to care and cooked a pot of extra-spicy soup. Tang Bingyan, believing it was out of concern, drank it anyway… and nearly ended up hospitalized.
“Xiaoxiao, let him bring it over,” Tang Bingyan said faintly.
Chen Xiaoxiao was furious.
She couldn’t understand how the woman known as the ‘Queen of Commerce’—a legend in the business world—could completely lose her wisdom and decisiveness when it came to Xu Tian.
Still, not wanting to upset Tang Bingyan, she turned angrily to Ah Wei. “Ah Wei, test the soup.”
Ah Wei didn’t argue. He took the thermos from Xu Tian, poured a small bowl, and drank it in one gulp.
As someone close to Tang Bingyan, he knew all about Xu Tian’s disgraceful past.
He had expected this soup to be as bad as always.
But after just one sip, he was stunned.
It was rich without being greasy. The flavor was balanced, and it was shockingly… delicious.
He stared at Xu Tian’s calm smile and suddenly grew doubtful.
“…You really made this soup?”
Chen Xiaoxiao, noticing Ah Wei’s odd reaction, quickly asked, “What’s wrong with it?”
“…Nothing.” Ah Wei shook his head, his face complicated.
“Impossible!”
Chen Xiaoxiao refused to believe it. She stepped forward and tasted it herself—and froze in surprise.
It was actually really good!
Could Xu Tian have changed tactics? Win her over with kindness, then stab her in the back?
Xu Tian could guess what they were thinking, but he didn’t bother explaining. He simply brought the soup to the bed and sat down.
“Bingyan, let me feed you.”
His gaze was gentle, his voice soft.
Tang Bingyan blinked. She was stunned.
Xu Tian had never spoken to her like this before. He had always looked at her with indifference, never kindness.
“…Okay.” After a long pause, she nodded faintly.
Xu Tian smiled. He picked up a spoonful, blew on it gently, and brought it to her lips.
This scene—so warm and calm—felt almost unreal to Chen Xiaoxiao and Ah Wei.
If they hadn’t personally witnessed Xu Tian’s past behavior, they would’ve thought this was a picture-perfect couple in love.
After a few sips, Tang Bingyan’s expression turned a little complicated.
“Xu Tian, you don’t have to do this. I’ve already given you everything I could. If you want more… I have nothing left to give.”
Xu Tian shook his head and smiled warmly. “I don’t want anything. I just want you to get better.”
Her eyes trembled. There was clear emotion flashing in her gaze.
But then—
“Pfft!”
Suddenly, a mouthful of fresh blood sprayed out from her lips.
It splashed into the soup bowl—bright red spreading like ink in water.
