Chapter 105: Shouldn’t the First Kiss Belong to My Sister? How Am I, Zhang Yuxin, Worse Than Su Muwan?!

The moment Zhang Yuxin heard Zhang Mu’s muttered complaint, the smile on her face froze completely. She turned her head stiffly, her voice trembling as she asked, “Xiao Mu… what did you just say?”

But Zhang Mu had no interest in explaining anything to her. After all, in the original plotline, his relationship with Zhang Yuxin was terrible. They rarely had any normal conversations.

Impatiently, he replied, “It’s nothing. It doesn’t concern you.” With that, he turned around and headed upstairs, clearly not wanting to engage with her any further.

Staring at his retreating back, Zhang Yuxin clenched her fists tightly and gritted her teeth. She didn’t mind Zhang Mu’s cold attitude—she had brought that upon herself with her past behavior. But what she did care about was what he had just said.

Kissed? Forced kiss?

That woman—Su Muwan—had actually kissed her beloved brother Zhang Mu? That couldn’t be true, could it? Zhang Mu’s first kiss… wasn’t that supposed to be hers, as his sister?

It should’ve been hers! That was only natural!

How dare Su Muwan take it? Did she really want to challenge her for the Zhang family’s inheritance? Was this just another tactic of hers?

Suppressing the fury in her heart, Zhang Yuxin immediately sent people to investigate. After all, what happened in Su Group today wasn’t a complete secret. There were witnesses—though few dared to speak openly since it involved CEO Su Muwan.

But Zhang Yuxin had her own connections. Finding out the truth wasn’t difficult.

Not long after, the results came back. She stared at the information in her hand—photos included—and her face turned dark with rage.

It was true. Su Muwan had kissed Zhang Mu. Right there in her company. With witnesses.

Zhang Yuxin nearly exploded. Her chest rose and fell violently, and she clawed at the air, almost unable to contain her rage.

She hadn’t even had a chance to act yet. She was still building rapport with Zhang Mu. And yet that despicable woman Su Muwan dared to steal a kiss?

Zhang Yuxin wanted to charge into Zhang Mu’s room, hold him tightly, and scream: Look at me! In what way am I inferior to Su Muwan?

Whether it was appearance or figure, she was not one bit worse than that woman!

But then she remembered how, in their previous life, Zhang Mu had loved Su Muwan from beginning to end. That made her swallow her emotions.

She had treated Zhang Mu terribly before. It made sense that he wouldn’t like her now. She couldn’t blame him. She could only blame that wretched woman, Su Muwan, for deceiving him with her fake image.

But she was his sister. She would help Zhang Mu open his eyes. She would make him see the truth.

Sooner or later, he would return to her—Zhang Yuxin’s—arms.

She made up her mind.

From today on, she would treat Zhang Mu with unmatched tenderness and care. Her dear brother would surely be moved.

His first kiss was already stolen. But the rest… the rest would be hers.

Zhang Yuxin gritted her teeth and silently vowed that she would take all of Zhang Mu’s “firsts” for herself.

At that moment, Zhang Mu was sitting outside in a rocking chair, enjoying the breeze. He didn’t know that his casual complaint had completely ruined Zhang Yuxin’s mood.

But he could sense it—each time Zhang Yuxin mentioned Su Muwan, something felt off. Her tone, her expression, her emotions… they were laced with resentment.

Still, it made sense. From the perspective of a power struggle, Su Muwan was currently her biggest rival for the Zhang family’s inheritance. Of course she would try to draw close to him and pretend to care.

But Zhang Mu couldn’t care less about their fight over the family assets. He wasn’t interested in the Zhang family at all. Despite how vast and powerful it was, to him, it wasn’t real.

It was like building a grand city in a game—owning magnificent buildings, unimaginable wealth, powerful forces—but at the end of the day, it was just pixels. Meaningless.

So Zhang Mu shifted his focus back to the plotline. He needed to prepare for the next arc.

Just as he was about to think ahead, a voice interrupted him.

“Greetings, Master Zhang Mu.”

It was Gu Qingqing—the future Prime Minister.

As usual, she bowed respectfully and kissed his hand as a formal greeting, expressing her loyalty. Then she looked up.

Every time she saw Zhang Mu, her emotions surged uncontrollably. Her heart pounded the moment she stepped into the Zhang family estate. As she raised her head after the ceremonial bow, her eyes gleamed for just a moment—a flash of raw desire and affection she struggled to conceal.

Zhang Mu caught it immediately. That faint light in her eyes was like a wolf spotting its prey.

Though she still looked docile now, he knew that once this “wolf” grew stronger, it would devour him whole.

Gu Qingqing, the future Prime Minister, still wore the guise of humility and restraint. On the surface, she submitted to him. But deep down, she wanted nothing more than to destroy him.

That was exactly what Zhang Mu wanted.

Playing the arrogant young master, he smiled contentedly. “Sit. No need to stand.”

He gestured toward a small stool beside him—much shorter than his own chair. His voice was generous, but his intention was clear.

While it might seem polite to offer a seat, the low height of the stool made it awkward and slightly humiliating. Combined with his haughty tone, it was more of a veiled insult.

This was a carefully designed detail in the original plot. As the future Prime Minister, Gu Qingqing was clever and dangerous. As the villain, Zhang Mu had to suppress her in every way to maintain his authority.

So, even in small things, like offering a seat, Zhang Mu made sure to remind her of her position.

Gu Qingqing, however, responded as she always did. “Thank you, Master Zhang Mu, for the seat,” she said softly, and sat down with a touched expression, her posture still as composed as ever.

Zhang Mu nodded in satisfaction. Everything was progressing as expected.

“Tell me what’s been happening lately,” he said, crossing his legs and speaking down to her in a relaxed, condescending tone.

The next scene of the plotline was about to begin. And Zhang Mu was fully in character.
