The Villain Who Slapped the Heroines Until They Begged to Marry Him - Chapter 9:
Chapter 9: The Harder the Slap, the Deeper the Love:
They had arrived at an abandoned amusement park on the outskirts of the city. As soon as Zhou Suyun saw it, her legs trembled, but she forced herself to remain composed. She put on a casual expression and asked Yang Lu, “Why bring me to this rundown amusement park?”
Yang Lu noticed her attempt to appear calm and couldn’t help but smirk inwardly. He knew full well that, despite her composed façade, she was deeply unsettled. And it was no wonder—this place held a unique significance for her.
Years ago, she had witnessed her father’s demise here from the seat of the Ferris wheel. She had screamed, she had cried, but nothing had stopped what happened. This place had since haunted her nightmares. Even after she avenged her father, she never dared to return here.
In the novel, Zhao Ritian had learned of this trauma and forced her to come here, making her confront her fears by taking a ride on the Ferris wheel. Through that, she had supposedly conquered her inner demons and, predictably, had fallen hopelessly in love with Zhao Ritian.
This might have been a small plot point for the protagonist, but today, Yang Lu was claiming it for himself.
“We’re here for a Ferris wheel ride,” he replied, pointing to the ride in the distance. He then pressed a button, and the Ferris wheel creaked to life, slowly rotating.
Don’t ask how it’s still operational after all these years—it’s all for the plot.
Seeing the Ferris wheel turn, Zhou Suyun’s calm demeanor crumbled, and she instinctively took a step back, stammering,
“I… I’m not getting on that.”
She turned, trying to escape. To her, this place was a living hell. She didn’t want to see it, and she certainly didn’t want to ride the Ferris wheel.
But in the next moment, Yang Lu grabbed her wrist.
“Do you think you have a choice?”
With that, he dragged her toward the Ferris wheel. Tears began streaming down her face as she begged,
“No, Yang Lu, please… I’m begging you, don’t make me ride the Ferris wheel. I beg you.”
Who would have thought that the Jade-Faced Demoness, feared throughout Dragon City, would break down into tears, pleading like a wounded child? Her usual ferocity was nowhere to be seen, replaced by pure terror.
But Yang Lu remained unmoved, roughly pulling her into the Ferris wheel cabin. As the cabin rose higher and escape became impossible, Zhou Suyun clung to his arm desperately, her last hope.
“Men and women shouldn’t be too close. Haven’t you heard?”
To her shock, Yang Lu pushed her away, putting on a righteous expression.
‘Yes, I’m a principled villain. You can’t just try to seduce me like this. I have standards!’
“Yang Lu, I’m sorry! Please don’t push me away! I’ll do whatever you want—just please, don’t leave me.” She cried.
Despite being shoved aside, Zhou Suyun reached out her hands and grabbed him again. Nothing else mattered now; all she needed was someone to hold onto. She’d do anything if it meant he wouldn’t push her away again.
“Oh, really?” Yang Lu smirked, then slapped her across the face.
Smack.
“Call me Daddy!”
He’d told her to call him Daddy, and he intended to make her say it.
After the slap, Zhou Suyun realized that her fear had lessened slightly. For a brief moment, she felt as if her inner demon was being subdued.
“Not calling me, huh? Alright then.”
Smack, smack!
Yang Lu slapped her left and right, relentless. If she wouldn’t call him Daddy, he’d keep at it until she did.
Eventually, Zhou Suyun, clutching onto him, finally gave in.
“Daddy… Daddy…”
She called him repeatedly, each time with more passion. Surprisingly, as she did, she felt a profound sense of relief, as if a dark cloud had lifted from her. She clung tightly to his arm, terrified he’d disappear if she let go.
At this moment, she realized that Yang Lu wasn’t as bad as she had thought.
Seeing her like this, Yang Lu wrapped his arm around her waist and leaned in to kiss her.
“Mmm…”
She resisted for a moment, but then held him tightly, and the scene unfolded into a thousand words…
(A thousand words to shake the heavens and make ghosts weep.)
Zhao Ritian, my apologies.
An hour later, Yang Lu and a disheveled, flushed Zhou Suyun stepped off the Ferris wheel. Gone was the anger and fear in her eyes, replaced by contentment and happiness.
