Time Stopped for a Thousand Years! The Female Leads Have Darkened! - Chapter 46:
Chapter 46: Four Big Fish!:
After leaving the trial camp, Ye Wuhen hummed a tune as he strolled leisurely.
He was sure that some fish had taken the bait behind him. As for how many and how big they were, he couldn’t be sure.
After a short while, Ye Wuhen arrived at a mountain valley passage.
The peaks on either side were as sharp as knives, leaving only a few feet of passageway.
“This is such a perfect spot. Someone must be unable to resist.” Ye Wuhen thought to himself.
Sure enough, just as the thought crossed his mind, he heard the sound of something cutting through the air.
Six figures appeared, blocking Ye Wuhen’s path. It was a team he had seen at the trial camp.
The leader, a young man with a sinister look, had triangular eyes and a hooked nose—he didn’t seem like a good person at all.
“You really are naive, aren’t you, fool?” The leader sneered after landing. “Don’t you know that this kind of terrain is the easiest place to get ambushed? You won’t even have a chance to run.”
The others in his team laughed. “This guy is clearly a pampered young master from a big family. He’s never been out in the real world!”
“Exactly. No one with any sense would enter the Blood Forest at the Qi Gathering stage. He’s a joke.” Another chimed in, unable to resist mocking Ye Wuhen.
Seeing him enjoying himself with food, drink, and the company of women at the camp had made them envious and resentful. Now that they had a chance to confront him, they wanted to ridicule him even more.
“Are you planning to rob me?” Ye Wuhen asked with a light smile.
His calm demeanor left the group momentarily stunned.
Did this guy not know fear? Or was he so clueless that he didn’t realize what he was about to face?
“Brat, we’re not just going to rob you. We’re going to kill you. Aren’t you afraid?” the sinister leader growled.
“So scared…” Ye Wuhen replied, though his expression remained unchanged. This left the group feeling as if they had punched a pillow—frustrated and confused.
What was going on?
Was this guy really so foolish that he didn’t understand the concept of death?
Ye Wuhen suddenly spoke loudly, “If I’m not mistaken… There are others here planning to rob me as well. Why don’t you come out?”
This left the group even more bewildered. This didn’t seem like the behavior of an idiot!
“Well, well, I underestimated you. This brat is interesting,” came a voice from behind. Another team emerged, one Ye Wuhen had seen at the trial camp.
“It seems he knew we’d follow him. Did he lure us here on purpose?” Another voice said as a third team appeared on Ye Wuhen’s left.
“So what if he did? Our intentions are the same. Even if he has some tricks up his sleeve, we have four teams with over twenty people. We can handle him.” A fourth team emerged, blocking Ye Wuhen’s right side.
With that, all the teams from the trial camp, except for Mu Qingqing’s group, had gathered.
Ye Wuhen was quite satisfied. He had caught four big fish at once. If he couldn’t gather fifty points from this, he might as well find a piece of tofu and bash his head in!
“Haha, it seems we’re all on the same page. Let’s not fight amongst ourselves. This brat has over fifty demon cores. How about we split them evenly?” The sinister leader suggested.
“I agree,” said one team.
“No objections here,” said another.
“Agreed!” responded the third.
None of the teams wanted to fight each other. If they could divide the points without shedding blood, they would be more than happy.
As for Ye Wuhen, they had already dismissed him. Surrounded by so many the Meridian Refinement Realm cultivators, he wouldn’t stand a chance.
