Villain Subdues the Toxic Villainess At the Start - Chapter 87
Chapter 87: Get Out of My Body:
Bai Qingzhi was reborn.
Not only that—she had taken over Su Qingyue’s body. Once she confirmed it, she was overwhelmed with joy and excitement. The thrill of getting a second chance at life filled her heart.
She didn’t know how much time had passed before she finally calmed down. Wiping the sweat from her forehead, she got up and headed to the bathroom for a shower. After bathing, she wrapped her hair in a towel and stood in front of the mirror, admiring her new appearance.
Compared to her past self, Su Qingyue’s face and figure were even more flawless.
“As expected from the daughter of the richest man. Not only is she this beautiful, but so many people like her,” Bai Qingzhi muttered to herself.
After going through Su Qingyue’s memories, she couldn’t help but think about her former life. The difference between the two was so great, it left her momentarily dazed.
Just then, a cold and distant voice echoed in her mind.
“Who are you? Why are you controlling my body? Get out.”
The sudden voice made Bai Qingzhi jump. She instinctively took a step back.
Realizing the voice came from within her own mind, she cautiously asked, “You… you’re Su Qingyue?”
“I’ll say it again. Whoever you are, leave my body immediately.”
Su Qingyue’s tone was icy and sharp. The difference in their personalities was obvious from the way they spoke.
Bai Qingzhi was stunned by the pressure in Su Qingyue’s voice. After a brief pause, she gathered herself and responded, “Why are you yelling at me? Do you think I wanted to end up in your body? I had no choice!”
“You’re telling me to leave, but how? Should I hang myself or swallow 597 sleeping pills?”
Su Qingyue gritted her teeth but didn’t answer. She had no way to refute it—because she herself didn’t know what was happening.
Right now, all she could do was watch and listen to everything Bai Qingzhi saw and heard. But she couldn’t control her body at all.
The feeling was unfamiliar and terrifying.
Bai Qingzhi, who had already experienced death once, quickly realized what was happening.
“Your name is Su Qingyue, right?”
“So what?”
“Don’t yell at me. If I’m right, we now share the same body—like something straight out of a drama. But I’m the one in control.”
Su Qingyue went silent.
Seeing that, Bai Qingzhi smirked.
“Su Qingyue, if you don’t want anything bad to happen to your body, then don’t scare me like that. If people see me talking to myself, they’ll think I’m mentally unstable. You don’t want them thinking you’re insane, do you?”
Bai Qingzhi had changed.
After everything she’d been through, she was now more rational and quick-thinking. She could calmly assess situations and make smart decisions—just like she was doing now.
Su Qingyue didn’t reply, unsure of how to respond to this strange situation.
Two souls in one body?
Schizophrenia?
Rebirth?
She didn’t know.
All she knew was that her body no longer belonged solely to her—and she couldn’t even call for help.
“Wait a minute!”
Just as Su Qingyue was lost in thought, a realization hit her.
“Bai Qingzhi? You’re Bai Qingzhi—the woman Lu Yu used to like? We met at a banquet before! Wait… are you trying to use my identity to get close to Lu Yu?”
“Don’t mention him!”
Bai Qingzhi’s mood shifted instantly. Her tone turned cold and bitter. “If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t have died.”
Su Qingyue sneered, “I don’t know the full story about Lu Yu, but from what I’ve heard, it was clearly your fault.”
“Shut up, Su Qingyue!”
Bai Qingzhi shouted, furious, cutting her off completely.
In the next moment, Su Qingyue’s voice vanished.
Bai Qingzhi stood there, breathing heavily, her body trembling from the emotion.
After a few moments, she gradually calmed down. When she realized Su Qingyue was no longer speaking, a victorious smile spread across her face.
Lin Yi was the descendant of a famed doctor. It had been more than twenty days since he arrived in Rongcheng.
Before coming, he never imagined he’d end up getting arrested by the police.
“Looks like using force recklessly isn’t such a good idea after all.”
Early the next morning, Lin Yi lay on a rest bench by the roadside, watching people grab breakfast and rush to work. He mumbled to himself while preparing to head to his own job.
After he was released from the police station, Old Mr. Su arranged a position for him at a private hospital. Since Lin Yi didn’t have a medical license yet, he could only start as an intern.
But he didn’t mind.
What really bothered him was how Wei Ziling had set him up.
In a lawful society like this, using violence had consequences. Even if you had good reason, you couldn’t overdo it.
Especially when dealing with wealthy people.
The fact that Wei Ziling had called the police on him was something he hadn’t expected at all. Totally went against common sense.
Not scientific at all.
“Huh?”
While Lin Yi was deep in thought, a slender girl in tight black short sleeves and jeans caught his attention.
She was slim, wore a mask and a cap, and looked like any ordinary passerby. But Lin Yi noticed her right away.
Her skin was pale, and her eyes—though half-covered—were sharp and alert, darting around as she searched for a target.
Suddenly, she spotted someone in the crowd and began to follow.
When no one was paying attention, she reached into the person’s pocket with expert precision.
“Tsk tsk, a beautiful pickpocket?”
Lin Yi smirked and started walking toward her.
“Well, well… looks like you’re out of luck today.”
The pickpocket was none other than Chu Xiaoqiao.
Even though Lu Yu had given her a million yuan that morning, she saw herself as someone who robbed the rich to help the poor. Plus, she had two younger brothers to support.
So her money never lasted long.
Within a week, she was back to her old ways. Now, nearly twenty days later, she was at it again.
Though Lu Yu had said she could ask him for money if she needed it, she just couldn’t bring herself to do that.
So she kept going, living off what she could steal.
Shaking off her thoughts, she locked eyes on her next target—a fat middle-aged man who stepped out of a BMW, holding a leather bag in one hand and a young girl in the other.
“Just look at him—fat face, sleazy smile. Definitely not a good person.”
She muttered under her breath and followed him.
She noticed him placing his phone in his back pocket—the easiest place to steal from.
That made him her target.
She trailed behind for five or six minutes before reaching for the phone.
Just then, a hand grabbed her wrist out of nowhere.
“What are you doing?” Chu Xiaoqiao frowned and glanced at the young man in front of her.
As the fat man walked off, Lin Yi gave her a playful smile.
“Pretty lady, do you know what you were just doing?”
“None of your business. Let go. If you don’t, I’ll scream.”
“I’ll let go… but… heh…”
Lin Yi was still smirking, but then something caught his eye. He looked at her closely, his expression changing.
“Wait… are you married?”
“Are you insane? What does that have to do with you?”
“Heh, you’re right. It doesn’t.”
Lin Yi awkwardly let go of her wrist. “It’s just… you don’t look a day over twenty. Girls your age being married? That’s rare in this city.”
“What’s it to you? Who told you I’m married? What makes you think that?!”
“Your pulse.”
Lin Yi looked confused. “Aren’t you pregnant?”
“Pregnant?! Even if I am… wait, what? You said… pregnant? I’m pregnant?!”
Chu Xiaoqiao’s eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at Lin Yi.
