Villain: You Want Me to Follow the Plot and Die? I’m Done Pretending - Chapter 22:
Chapter 22: Yandere? Just Beat Them Into Submission:
“Ye Xiaoyi? What are you doing here?”
Wen Lingruan shielded her younger sister, her face tense as she stared at the seductive demoness, Ye Xiaoyi, who had just leapt down from a tree.
Ye Xiaoyi was dressed in bright red, her pale skin exposed in large patches, and she held a black whip in her hand.
After landing, she flashed a cold smile at the Wen sisters. “Why can’t I be here?”
“Did you claim this secret realm as your own?”
“Hey, kid, are you Gu Feng’s junior brother?” Ye Xiaoyi asked, eyeing Bai Yuxiao.
Her intentions were clear. She was here to find Gu Feng.
This secret realm was vast, and finding someone was incredibly difficult unless one overheard a conversation like she had.
“I don’t know.” Bai Yuxiao coldly replied.
The people of the Demon Clan were enemies of all, especially since they had once attacked Zhengyuan Sect.
If Bai Yuxiao had the strength to defeat this little demoness, he would certainly fight her.
“You don’t know?”
Like a snake, Ye Xiaoyi swiftly slid to Bai Yuxiao’s side and gripped his throat with one hand.
Her spiritual energy channeled into him through her palm, instantly disrupting his meridians.
Bai Yuxiao’s spiritual power spiraled out of control.
“Demoness.” He spat through gritted teeth.
In the next second, her fingers tightened around his throat, and Bai Yuxiao found it difficult to breathe.
Ye Xiaoyi moved closer to his face and whispered, “You look just like I did when I was in his hands!”
“Ugh!” Bai Yuxiao spat at her.
Ye Xiaoyi merely laughed, unfazed, but the Wen sisters were ready to act.
“If you dare move, I’ll snap his neck.” Ye Xiaoyi warned.
The Demon Clan’s Holy Maiden was known for doing as she pleased. One moment she might be laughing, and the next, she could tear someone to pieces.
So, the Wen sisters hesitated.
Wen Lingruan’s gaze was fixed on her. “Bai Yuxiao is Gu Feng’s direct junior brother. If you kill him, Gu Feng will hunt you down to the ends of the earth.”
“Hunt me to the ends of the earth?”
Ye Xiaoyi leaned in close to Bai Yuxiao and exhaled lightly, causing goosebumps to rise all over his neck.
“That would be perfect. I want him to chase me, to the ends of the earth. How wonderful that would be.”
With each word, she tightened her grip.
Bai Yuxiao’s face had turned red, his entire body lifted off the ground by Ye Xiaoyi’s strength.
At this moment, the jade pendant hanging around his neck suddenly shattered, releasing a massive surge of spiritual energy which blasted Ye Xiaoyi away.
“Yu Xiaoyi?”
A voice echoed from the broken jade pendant. It was Gu Feng’s.
Cough cough…
Bai Yuxiao collapsed to his knees, clutching his throat and coughing violently.
“Stay still.” Gu Feng’s calm, reassuring voice came through.
Bai Yuxiao obediently remained still, hands still gripping his throat.
The broken jade pendant emitted a gentle glow, and a figure materialized above it—Gu Feng, in black robes, with his hair half-tied back and sharp, perfect features.
“A soul imprint?”
Ye Xiaoyi instinctively took a few steps back, wary.
She had always coveted Gu Feng, but this situation felt off.
“Gu Feng, you’re not just a Golden Core Realm cultivator anymore. Have you already reached the Nascent Soul?”
Her hand gripped the whip tighter, her fingers growing cold. The way she looked at the figure became more serious.
According to the elders of the Demon Clan, Gu Feng hadn’t been possessed by anyone.
This meant he had achieved the soul imprint with his own strength.
A 17-year-old Nascent Soul cultivator.
For the Demon Clan, this was troubling news.
“Gu Feng, even though I quite like you, I have no choice now.”
A genius like him would have to be killed early, or he’d become a great threat to the Demon Clan.
A soul imprint usually lasted only three minutes, and when activated, the main body would be aware.
Gu Feng was probably already on his way back.
“Do you really think you can handle me?”
Even as a mere soul imprint, Gu Feng’s personality was fully intact.
In a flash, his silhouette appeared beside Ye Xiaoyi.
She swung her long whip toward him, but hit nothing but air, leaving her side exposed.
The imprint struck swiftly toward her side, aiming at her waist.
Ye Xiaoyi didn’t dodge.
Her body had been refined in the Demon Clan’s blood pool, strong enough to withstand a full-force punch from a peak Nascent Soul.
So, she chose to take the hit head-on.
But in the next moment, the punch tore through her like a blade.
Blood, intestines, and pieces of flesh splattered everywhere.
“Hmph, trash.”
The soul imprint flicked the blood from its hand and retreated back into the jade pendant.
Bai Yuxiao, still on the ground, took a while to process what had just happened.
The once-arrogant Demon Clan Holy Maiden was now nothing more than a pile of mangled flesh?
Even the three bystanders, who had been watching silently the whole time, were stunned.
Especially Ye Fan, whose heart pounded in terror.
