Chapter 13: Has the Punishment Hall’s Robbery Become This Open?

Li Changju looked at the three-storied glazed tower in his hand, still unable to believe what had just happened. Murong Daidai hadn’t said a single word, tied herself up, prepared this glazed treasure tower, and obediently walked into it.

In the original novel, he had entered the Punishment Hall many times, and such reactions were merely instinctive fear. But this time was different—he was completely immobilized.

“Well, if it isn’t a regular. What brought you here again?” A young disciple in gray slowly approached him.

Li Changju squinted, recognizing him. This was one of his very few friends in the Radiant Jade Sword Sect, You Haoxian. True to his name, he idled about all day, without any special hobbies—except for one: lechery. He accepted any woman, whether young or old, beautiful or ugly. Because of this, he became a target of disdain throughout the sect.

Yet, damn it, he was a genius. 

At such a young age, he was already the chief disciple of Sword Slashing Peak, and his cultivation was always among the top three in the sect. He couldn’t be expelled, so the sect had no choice but to let him continue his shameless ways.

“Don’t you see I’m not wearing shackles? What about you? What did you do this time?” Li Changju spread his hands and then glanced at the black-iron shackles on You Haoxian.

“Ah, don’t bring it up. Do you know the beauty of Trial Peak?” You Haoxian sat on the ground, shaking his legs lazily.

“???” Li Changju’s brain stalled.

“Hmph.” Qin Shuang snorted and turned away. She happened to pass by You Haoxian in shackles and lashed her whip down, making him howl in pain.

“You’re from Jade Peak?”

Li Changju turned and saw an elder in purple robes, wearing a crown, with white hair but a youthful face, standing with hands clasped behind his back. This was the Punishment Hall’s Enforcement Elder, Cao Qiang.

“Yes, disciple Li Changju. I came here today for something important,” Li Changju greeted respectfully.

“For Ye Yan?” Cao Qiang said casually, though his thoughts were elsewhere. Since last night, six different people had requested Ye Yan’s castration. Just how many people had that brat offended?

Li Changju froze. “How do you know?”

Cao Qiang didn’t answer, only gave a mysterious smile. He walked to a wooden chair, sat down, stretched out his hand, and with a sly grin said, “A friendly discount—10,000 spirit stones!”

Li Changju was dumbstruck. Was robbery at the Punishment Hall this blatant now?
