Chapter 3: Junior Brother, You Smell So Good~

“See clearly now? There’s really nothing hidden!” Li Changju pulled open his robes and raised his hands to show his innocence.

Xiao Hongyan smirked, “Isn’t there still another layer of clothing?”

Li Changju cursed in his heart. Damn it! He suddenly remembered where he had seen this kind of plot. This Second Senior Sister—could she have transmigrated from Sakura Nation?

He forced himself to stay calm and said, “Are you sure you want to look?” Then he sneered deliberately. “Since Senior Sister insists, I’ll let you see for yourself!”

With that, he ripped off his shirt and tossed it aside, revealing his honey-toned skin.

Xiao Hongyan’s eyes nearly popped out of her head. Strong… so well-built! So tempting! She swallowed hard, her gaze fixed on his chiseled abs and chest muscles. Her head spun, and she gulped again, an overwhelming urge to reach out and touch rising within her.

She leaned in closer, the fragrance of her body wafting over him, making Li Changju’s breath quicken. If not for the fact that he couldn’t beat her, he would have taught this crazy girl a lesson! Not red… but yellow!

“Enough now?” His voice was low and rough, snapping Xiao Hongyan out of her daze.

She cleared her throat softly, “Mmhm…”

Seeing that she didn’t intend to make things harder for him—or kill him—Li Changju finally breathed a sigh of relief. But the next second, Xiao Hongyan said, “What about the pants?”

Li Changju froze. “???”

“Flip out the pockets, I bet something’s in there.”

Li Changju was speechless. Damn it! If he couldn’t complete the mission, he’d die anyway! Fine, he’d risk it all!

The Scarlet Frost Sword unsheathed with a cold gleam. His teeth clenched, he roared, “You crazy woman! Even if I die today, I’ll drag you down with me!”

He swung the blade fiercely at her neck. Xiao Hongyan only gave a disdainful laugh. With a flick of her finger, his wrist went numb, and the sword flew from his grasp, embedding itself in the wall.

In an instant, she closed the distance and grabbed his throat. The icy touch made his whole body stiffen in fear. Was she really going to kill him?

His voice trembled, “Senior Sister…”

Before he could finish, Xiao Hongyan suddenly whispered, “Junior Brother, you smell so good~”

Li Changju’s eyes widened in shock. “!!!”

She hooked her lips in a wicked smile, her slender fingers sliding slowly along his neck. “So smooth~”

His pupils dilated, heart pounding wildly, mind racing. What kind of scene was this? This wasn’t in the novel! In the book, wasn’t Second Senior Sister Xiao Hongyan supposed to fall head over heels for Ye Yan, ignoring him completely? Why was this happening?

He began to doubt whether he had read a fake novel.

Xiao Hongyan found his dumbfounded expression amusing and laughed even more boldly. “What’s wrong? Surprised?”

Li Changju cursed silently. Surprised? I’ll show you surprised!

He stammered nervously, “S-Senior Sister, what exactly do you want?”

Her smile turned sinister. “Did you just call me a crazy woman?”

“I-I didn’t! You must have misheard. In my heart, you’ve always been righteous and noble, elegant and refined, gentle and virtuous—the goddess of my life…”

Clearly pleased by his flattery, Xiao Hongyan’s eyes glimmered. Li Changju racked his brain, piling on more compliments. “To be honest, I’ve admired you for a long time. Xiao Hongyan arched a brow and smiled sweetly. “Oh?”

“Since I’m your only goddess, then why did you steal Senior Sister Bai Shuyue’s clothing and not mine?” She leaned closer, her nose nearly brushing his.

Li Changju’s heart skipped a beat. This was a death trap!

“Because…”

“Because what?” Her gaze darkened, pressing for an answer.

He swallowed hard. “Because I was forced to… I only did it for…”

He was about to shove the blame elsewhere when Xiao Hongyan interrupted, “No need to explain, I understand!”

Li Changju blinked in confusion. “You… understand what?”

Her lips curved as she lifted his chin with one slender finger. “You did it so Senior Sister and the others could see Ye Yan’s true face, didn’t you?”

Her eyes curved into crescent moons, her smile sweet enough to melt bones. “You’re really foolish.”

Li Changju was stunned. Wait, what? Did I just get roasted like skewers?

She patted his cheek lightly. “You don’t have to take such risks. Leave Ye Yan’s matter to me.” Then she turned, sat gracefully on the bed, and patted the spot beside her.

Li Changju stared blankly. Was this really happening?

Her voice was soft and teasing, carrying a hint of provocation. She leaned slightly, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “You said I’m the most beautiful in your heart. More beautiful than Senior Sister Bai Shuyue?”

Another death trap! He forced himself to stay calm and smiled. “Of course, you’re far more beautiful than Senior Sister Bai Shuyue.” 

He thought silently, What else could I say? I haven’t even seen Bai Shuyue yet!

Pleased with his answer, Xiao Hongyan’s eyes shone with triumph. She continued, “What about compared to Fourth Junior Sister?”

“You’re more beautiful!” he replied without hesitation, secretly relieved his tongue was working so well.

“And Fifth Junior Sister?” she pressed playfully.

“You’re beautiful!”

“And Sixth Junior Sister?”

“You… sister!” The words slipped out before he realized.

Xiao Hongyan’s eyes narrowed. “Hm?”

He quickly corrected himself, “You’re beautiful!”

Her laughter was soft and sly. “What about compared to Master? Am I more beautiful than Master?”

“Beautiful!” Li Changju said without pause.

She snorted. “Here. From now on, don’t touch Senior Sister Bai Shuyue’s things again. Hers are too plain. Mine are far more exquisite…” Her voice carried the willfulness of a spoiled princess, as if issuing a command.

Before Li Changju could respond, his vision darkened, his face pressed against something soft and fragrant. He pulled it away to look—gold!

“You crazy woman, what are you doing?” Li Changju shouted, bewildered.

She giggled, her eyes glowing faint red, lips curving in wicked charm. “Hehehe… what do you think I’m doing? Junior Brother, you wouldn’t want others to know about your little theft, would you?”

Li Changju was dumbfounded. Damn it! She really was like one of those Sakura Nation lunatics!

“But this is Senior Sister Bai Shuyue’s room!” he protested.

Xiao Hongyan licked her lips, her laughter low and eerie. “That makes it even more exciting… kukuku…”
