Chapter 5: The Enchantress’s Overwhelming Charm

Seeing Qin Chuan momentarily stunned, the woman parted her red lips and revealed a smile that could stir the soul. “Ye Linglong!”

Her beautiful eyes locked onto Qin Chuan, shimmering with a fiery brilliance.

With fingers painted in dark red nail polish, she lifted her glass and clinked it against his, deliberately brushing the back of his hand.

“Executive CEO of the Tianhai Ye Family,” she introduced herself.

Leaning slightly forward, she closed the distance between them. The curve of her chest was faintly visible, and the scent of perfume mixed with alcohol drifted toward him, leaving Qin Chuan momentarily distracted.

“Mr. Qin, I’ve long admired your name. To finally meet you today is my great fortune!”

She extended her hand, intending to shake his.

Qin Chuan did not take it. He simply nodded coldly. “Qin Chuan.”

Qin Chuan’s breathing quickened, not from desire, but from the emotional stir her words caused.

This so-called rival of Su Qinghuan seemed to understand him even better than Su Qinghuan herself.

Ye Linglong’s lips curved into a proud smile, still close to his ear.

“Mr. Qin, how about joining my Ye Group?”

“Am I not more beautiful than Su Qinghuan?”

Qin Chuan said nothing, his gaze still filled with vigilance.

Qin Chuan took a large gulp of alcohol. “That’s none of your business.”

Ye Linglong smiled gently and hooked her arm around his, her full chest pressing against him with a soft, intoxicating sensation.

“As I said before, if you join the Ye Group, I can offer you the position of Vice CEO along with five percent shares.”
