Chapter 13: Kill Someone for Me

The process was even easier than they expected.

After obtaining the storage ring, Ye Feng and Qiu Liu left the Scripture Pavilion and found a secluded place to open it.

Originally, Lu Hengge had been a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator. His storage ring had a Nascent Soul imprint on it—normally, only someone far stronger could force it open. But now Lu Hengge was just a mortal.

With no spiritual Qi to support the imprint, it was as fragile as paper.

As expected, the contents of the ring spilled out.

Moments later, Qiu Liu became more and more annoyed, “What kind of garbage is this? A rattle, a bamboo dragonfly—these are all toys for mortal children! He actually kept them so carefully… All junk!”

She stomped those items into pieces.

Not a single precious herb.
Not a single pill.

Lu Hengge’s storage ring was filled with things only mortals would use.

“Senior sister, let it go,” Ye Feng said righteously. “I believe senior brother didn’t hide anything. He’s not that kind of person!”

His serious tone made Qiu Liu’s eyes sparkle with affection again.

No!
Her kind junior brother didn’t understand how sinister the cultivation world was. She had to find evidence that Lu Hengge was hiding something—to prove it to him!

Qiu Liu was great at deluding herself.

In just a few seconds, she gave herself a mission—and even felt it carried sacred importance.

“Senior sister, it’s getting late. I’m going back to my cave to continue cultivating,” Ye Feng said, anxious to get on with the assassination.

Qiu Liu fluttered her eyes, almost draping her heavy chest onto him, and said seductively, “Junior brother, such a long, lonely night… cultivation is too boring. Why don’t we do something fun?”

Ye Feng swallowed hard. Damn it! If only she had said this on any other night. But not tonight—he couldn’t afford delays.

Though tempted, he forced himself to decline, “Forgive me, senior sister. I haven’t fully recovered yet.”

Qiu Liu immediately looked disappointed.

She’d worn nothing under her dress and even prepared over ten jin of tiger whip to spice things up… All for nothing.

“Junior brother’s health comes first. I’ll be leaving then.”

She left reluctantly, turning back every few steps. If Ye Feng so much as coughed, she would’ve stayed. But realizing he really didn’t intend to keep her, she finally left in frustration.

“Second brother… I’ve wronged you,” Ye Feng sighed.

He could’ve been galloping freely on the grasslands tonight, letting the horse drink—but all was ruined because of Lu Hengge.

His killing intent flared up even more.

Returning to his cave, Ye Feng first checked every isolation array. Then, with the system’s help, he blocked all energy signatures. Once everything was ready, he took out a pitch-black heart from his storage ring.

Strange black veins pulsed across its surface. As Ye Feng activated his magic, a dense wave of demonic Qi poured out from him. The heart greedily absorbed it.

Thump!

It pulsed.

Instantly, Ye Feng’s own heart clenched in response.

The Heart of the Demon Race.

Infused with demonic Qi to revive it, this item could randomly summon a nearby demon cultivator.

It was a means of communication and summoning between demon cultivators—but few used it.

It consumed enormous amounts of demonic Qi, and after one use, recovery was extremely slow.

Ye Feng stared at the heart nervously.

It just kept absorbing, not reacting.

“If you absorb any more, I’ll be dried up,” Ye Feng muttered in panic.

Being a body and demon dual cultivator, demonic Qi was his main power—not spiritual Qi. Losing too much at once was bad.

Just as he was about to cut the connection, the heart pulsed again.

Thick black mist billowed out, filled with wailing souls.

Then, a pair of jade-like long legs stepped through the mist, the bells on her ankles chiming softly.

Ye Feng looked up along those irresistible legs.

Gulp…

He swallowed hard.

He thought Qiu Liu and Lu Sheng had amazing figures, but the woman emerging from the mist was beyond comprehension.

“Voluptuous” wasn’t enough to describe her.

Her waist swayed with every step, and her hips followed suit. Her tiny skirt barely covered her curves—just enough to tempt without crossing into vulgarity.

And that chest—massive and proud—could trigger earthquakes.

The saying went: “Those who have thunder in the chest but calm faces are extraordinary.”
But for her, it should be: “With thunder in the chest and a face like blooming peach blossoms, she is the pinnacle of earthly beauty.”

Ye Feng was dumbfounded.

He had seen many beauties.

But none who moved with such allure, who made every breath stir one’s soul.

He couldn’t take it.

He had to look away, or else he’d lose control.

Still, his gaze kept drifting back.

“Are you of the demon race?” the woman asked.

Her voice was seductive. Though her tone was cold, it came across as flirtatious.

Ye Feng’s eyes were dazed. His pants visibly tented.

She was born a natural aphrodisiac—no enhancements needed.

She didn’t even blink. Every man reacted this way.

A moment later, her delicate foot stomped hard on Ye Feng’s abdomen. The pain jolted him back to clarity.

“Oh? Were you fantasizing about something lewd?”

“Or do you have… special preferences?”

Her eyes narrowed in a teasing smile, voice icy but charming.

“I’m not of the demon race,” Ye Feng said, hunched over in pain, forehead drenched in sweat. This woman was terrifying—possibly on par with Lu Sheng.

“Moksha?” she asked.

“That boy sure makes strange friends—even inside the Three Thousand Dao Sect.”

She laughed happily.

Ye Feng’s heart trembled.

To dare call the demon race’s young master by name—who was this woman?

She didn’t press further. Since he knew Moksha, she’d give him some face.

Without introducing herself, she gracefully sat on a stone bench, crossed her legs, and let the bells on her ankles ring softly.

“Summoning a demon cultivator within the Three Thousand Dao Sect—bold of you. Tell me, what do you want from me?”

Ye Feng lowered his head, not daring to look again.

“Kill someone for me.”

“Who?”

“The Holy Son of the Three Thousand Dao Sect, Lu Hengge.”

The cave fell into complete silence.

Ye Feng couldn’t read her expression—she neither accepted nor refused.

But he knew—if she agreed, Lu Hengge wouldn’t survive.

Her strength was terrifying beyond measure.
