Chapter 2: The Bedchamber Maid

“Honey, what should we do now? Should we call the police?” Jiang Wanrou asked timidly.

Qin Weiye glared at her and shouted, “Call the police for what? Hurry up and prepare the daily necessities for him!”

“Huh?” Jiang Wanrou thought she had misheard.

“Or what? Wait for him to tear down this villa? That little bastard is capable of anything,” Qin Weiye gritted his teeth as he glanced at the shattered marble floor. He lowered his voice and said, “We’ll endure him for now. Once he marries into the Su family, they will take care of him.”

“Don’t worry, Dad. For the sake of the family, I won’t hold a grudge against Brother,” Qin Li said pitifully, making the whole family feel sorry for him.

“You have fifteen minutes left,” Qin Yang’s voice rang out at that moment.

The bodyguards quickly rushed off to prepare the items.

The family headed out together, only to find Qin Wan lingering at the door.

“Are you stupid? He says you can’t come in and you really don’t dare to?” Jiang Wanrou scolded her.

Qin Wan pointed to her missing tooth and said, “It’s not like that. Qin Yang is crazy! He’ll really throw me out again.”

Qin Yang opened the door and went to the living room.

Qin Yang shrugged without replying.

“Where’s Qin Weiye and the others?” Su Nuanyue asked.

“I wiped them all out. They’re probably grouped up at the hospital by now,” Qin Yang said casually.

Su Nuanyue froze and gave Qin Yang a strange look. It seemed the real young master the Qin family found wasn’t a pushover either.

“Are you willing to marry me?” Su Nuanyue asked.

Qin Yang nodded and said, “Before I met you, I wasn’t willing. After seeing you, I think this marriage can work.”

Qin Yang stared at Su Nuanyue. That thin veil couldn’t block his gaze.

“Being with me isn’t as simple as you think. It’s much more dangerous than you can imagine. You could die at any moment,” Su Nuanyue warned coldly.

Qin Yang grinned broadly, “That makes it even better. My master said I have a tough life and won’t die easily.”

Su Nuanyue smiled faintly, “I wonder if your skills are as impressive as your mouth.”

Just as her words fell, she felt her veil lifted and a warm sensation pressed against her lips.

Su Nuanyue’s bodyguard tried to speak but was silenced.

Du Li’s face turned red as she glared fiercely at Qin Yang, ready to act at her boss’s command.

“Let’s go back,” Su Nuanyue suddenly said.

“Boss, you’re not breaking off the engagement?” Du Li asked in disbelief.

Su Nuanyue gave Qin Yang a deep look and said, “If he’s the one I’m marrying, it’s not unacceptable.”

“But he actually tried to…” Du Li couldn’t finish her sentence.

“He was joking,” Su Nuanyue said. Marrying her, no man would dare covet another woman. She was confident in herself.

“I’m serious. You’re both my Dao partners now,” Qin Yang said earnestly.

She took a deep breath and said, “Let’s go.”
