Chapter 2: Villain System

The moment Lin Chen heard the knocking, his body stiffened.

He remembered the comic all too clearly. The protagonist lived alone most of the time and barely had any friends. Even his former nanny had resigned because she could no longer tolerate his various perverted behaviors. At this hour of the night, there was only one person who could possibly be knocking on his door.

Lin Chen looked through the peephole.
