Chapter 16: Yang Hao, the One with Great Fortune

Ye Suxin’s heart softened at the sight of the little girl’s pitiful state. She hurried over, held her in her arms, and stroked her hair, whispering comfort.

Ye Suxin was left speechless.

He pointed at the blushing, head-lowered Qingwu, then turned and walked toward his cultivation chamber.

Ye Suxin sighed softly. “Qingwu, come with Aunt. I’ll prepare a room for you.” She took the girl’s hand, her expression full of complexity as she led her away.
